WHAT A TRIP LOOKS LIKE
Arrive in Jacksonville
Jacksonville's airport is straightforward from Toronto. Check into the resort or nearby Ponte Vedra accommodation and do an evening walk around the golf village — the Stadium Course's finishing holes are worth a look from the bridge path before you play them.
Valley Course
Pete Dye and Bobby Weed's companion layout is an excellent full day's golf — tighter and more tree-lined than the Stadium, with its own set of water hazards that require precise ball-striking.
World Golf Village
The King & Bear course 25 minutes away combines Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus design signatures on the same layout — a genuinely interesting round that most Canadians haven't played. World Golf Hall of Fame is worth an hour between rounds.
Stadium Course
TPC Sawgrass is best played when the group is fully into the trip and comfortable with Florida conditions. Save the Stadium Course for the fourth day — the legs are fresh, expectations are calibrated, and the group's ball-striking is at its peak.
St. Augustine Day Trip & Depart
St. Augustine's historic district — the oldest European settlement in North America — is 45 minutes south and a proper non-golf half-day. Castillo de San Marcos and the bayfront restaurants are worth the detour before the evening flight.
Depart
Jacksonville airport, direct to Toronto. The Stadium Course scorecard goes home in everyone's bag.
GROUPS 12+ — TPC Sawgrass operates its own resort accommodation adjacent to the Stadium Course — block the attached rooms rather than spreading the group across nearby hotels. The resort's group services team is experienced and responsive; one contact can handle tee times, dining, and room blocks across the stay.
