WHAT A TRIP LOOKS LIKE

5 ROUNDS
DAY 1

Arrive Tampa & Drive In

Land at TPA and make the 90-minute drive through Polk County into Streamsong — bring snacks for the car because there is genuinely nothing until you get there. Check in and spend the late afternoon on the porch overlooking the lake before dinner at The Grille.

DAY 2

Streamsong Red

Coore and Crenshaw's Red is the widest and most accessible of the three courses — ideal for Day 1 of play when the group is still warming up. The waste-area corridors and sandy scrub remind every Canadian golfer why they made the trip down in January or February.

DAY 3

Streamsong Blue

Tom Doak's Blue plays considerably more difficult than the Red — smaller greens, more demanding angles, and a routing that requires actual course management rather than grip-and-rip. Morning round, then a long afternoon at the resort's Lake Lodge for swimming and board games.

DAY 4

Streamsong Black

Gil Hanse's 2017 design is the newest of the three and uses the most dramatic landforms on the property — the par-3 fifth hole over a lake with a wind-swept green is the signature image of Streamsong Black. Late afternoon, most groups explore the short-game area and driving range.

DAY 5

Red or Blue Rematch

A penultimate-day rematch on whichever course the group liked best — Streamsong rewards a second look, particularly on the Blue where hole management becomes clear only after you've seen it once. Evening bonfire by the lake if the resort is running one.

DAY 6

Depart

Final morning range session and a relaxed breakfast before the drive to Tampa. Groups that fly out of Orlando (MCO, 90 minutes east) have a bit more flexibility on departure time.

GROUPS 12+ — Streamsong is one of the few North American golf resorts where a single stay-and-play package genuinely covers everything at a fair price — negotiate a group room block directly with their sales team and ask them to include all three course fees and one welcome dinner in the rate. No rental cars needed once you're on property; the resort shuttles between lodge and courses.
