WHAT A TRIP LOOKS LIKE

6 ROUNDS
DAY 1

Arrive Faro

Fly direct from Toronto into Faro (or via Lisbon) and check in. The Algarve's Golden Triangle — Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, Vilamoura — has more five-star resort accommodation than anywhere else in continental Europe's golf corridor. Tonight is a welcome dinner and the first Portuguese wine of the trip.

DAY 2

Penina Hotel & Golf Resort

Start the circuit with Penina — Henry Cotton's 1966 parkland design through eucalyptus and pine, relaxed and well-maintained. A gentle opening round that gets the competitive spirit warmed up without the pressure of the premium courses to come.

DAY 3

Quinta do Lago South

Quinta do Lago South is one of the finest resort courses in Europe — a European Tour venue in condition that puts most Canadian courses to shame. The flamingo lake on 15 is genuinely world-class, and the clubhouse sets a standard for the whole trip.

DAY 4

Quinta do Lago North

The North Course at Quinta do Lago runs through the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve — cork oaks, lagoons, and birdlife throughout. A different character from the South, equally prestigious, and often available when South books out.

DAY 5

Vale do Lobo Royal

Henry Cotton's clifftop routing at Vale do Lobo delivers the most dramatic scenery on the Algarve circuit — the 16th green sits above Atlantic ocean inlets and is as photogenic as anything in European golf. Afternoon: beach or pool at the resort.

DAY 6

Monte Rei Golf & Country Club

Drive east to Monte Rei, Jack Nicklaus's only Portuguese design and the most exclusive round on the circuit. The course deliberately limits daily tee times, which means pristine conditions, unhurried pace, and the feeling of having the course to yourselves.

DAY 7

Vilamoura Victoria Course

The Vilamoura Victoria Course hosted the Portugal Masters on the European Tour and is the best value premium round in the area — excellent challenge, impeccable conditioning, and a marina-facing clubhouse for the final evening's dinner.

DAY 8

Depart Faro

Morning flight home. The Algarve circuit offers more consistent quality-per-euro than any comparable European golf destination.

GROUPS 12+ — Groups of 12 or more should book a resort villa package through Quinta do Lago or Vale do Lobo — they have dedicated group packages that include accommodation, course access, and transport. The resort minibus eliminates car-hire logistics entirely.
