WHAT A TRIP LOOKS LIKE
Arrive & Settle
PSP is the rare airport where you're at the pool home in 20 minutes. Get in early enough to do nine holes at Indian Wells in the late afternoon — flat, fast, and the perfect shakeout after a five-hour flight from Toronto.
PGA West (Stadium Course)
The big day. Pete Dye's Stadium Course is genuinely difficult — the island par-3 17th is as penal as advertised, and the back nine requires shot-shaping that flat hitters will struggle with. Earn it. Evening on Palm Canyon Drive.
La Quinta Country Club
Pete Dye designed this one in the late 1950s, before he became Pete Dye — classic desert parkland, excellent conditioning, and a calmer day-pace after the Stadium Course intensity. Ideal for a recovery round with afternoon pool time.
Classic Club
Arnold Palmer's Classic Club spent years on the PGA Tour calendar and still plays like it. The fairways are generous enough to let everyone score, but the approach angles and green complexes reward precision. Good Ryder Cup format day.
Indian Wells Golf Resort
Indian Wells has two courses and some of the best-maintained greens in the valley at a reasonable price — a proper desert floor round without the premium. The resort's spa makes this a popular rest-and-play day for groups.
Rest Day & Depart
Day 6 is whatever the group needs — a sunrise nine, the outlet malls in Desert Hills, a date shake on Highway 111, or a morning at the spa. Fly out Day 7 with room in the luggage for a dozen new sleeves.
GROUPS 12+ — Palm Springs is a volume golf town — you can book back-to-back tee times six days running and never repeat a course. For 12+ golfers, the pool home is non-negotiable over hotel rooms: it cuts costs by 30–40% on accommodation and becomes the trip's social hub. Most courses allow two-wave bookings of 6 per wave, 8 minutes apart.
