WHAT A TRIP LOOKS LIKE

5 ROUNDS
DAY 1

Arrive & Settle

Direct flight from Toronto to Myrtle Beach, check into a condo on the Grand Strand, and spend the afternoon on the boardwalk or at the pool. Myrtle Beach is one of those rare destinations where the town is part of the experience — the Ocean Boulevard scene is pure beach-town golf trip energy.

DAY 2

TPC Myrtle Beach

Start with the benchmark. TPC Myrtle Beach's forested Fazio-Wadkins design is a genuine test of ball-striking in a market where most courses reward length above everything else. The back nine along the wetlands is particularly strong.

DAY 3

Caledonian & True Blue

Two rounds in a day is standard practice in Myrtle Beach. Caledonian's Scottish links character in the morning, True Blue's dramatic Strantz design in the afternoon — the contrast between them illustrates why 100+ courses in the same market can all feel different.

DAY 4

Barefoot Resort (Love Course) & Pawleys Plantation

Davis Love III's Barefoot course has some of the best Intracoastal Waterway views on the Grand Strand — it plays like a coastal design even though it's inland. Pawleys Plantation in the afternoon takes you south of the busy resort corridor into a quieter stretch of the coast.

DAY 5

Rematch & Beach Afternoon

Day 5 is traditionally a group vote on the favourite course from the trip for a rematch — TPC and True Blue are usually the top picks. Afternoon on the beach before a group dinner at Drunken Jack's in Murrell's Inlet.

DAY 6

Depart

Morning checkout. Myrtle Beach has an efficient departure flow for golf groups — most packages include early checkout accommodations for bag storage. Toronto flights typically board mid-morning.

GROUPS 12+ — Myrtle Beach condo rentals (4-bedroom oceanfront units at Dunes Village or Kingston Plantation) accommodate 12+ at a lower cost than hotel rooms and add kitchen facilities that cut food costs substantially. Your package operator handles all tee time logistics — let them coordinate the sequencing so your group has consecutive tee times at each course.
